What we collect, where it goes, and how to have it deleted.
Meteorix designs and builds websites and AI receptionists for local service businesses. This policy explains what happens to information you share with us through this website, meteorix.agency.
When this policy says “we”, “us” or “Meteorix”, it means Meteorix. When it says “you”, it means anyone who visits the site or contacts us through it.
Only what you choose to type into one of our forms. Each form has a fixed list of fields, and anything outside that list is thrown away:
We don’t ask for, and you shouldn’t send, payment details, passwords or sensitive personal information through these forms.
This site uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording and no fingerprinting. Fonts, images and scripts are served from this site itself, so your browser doesn’t contact any third party while you browse.
To stop spam, each form submission creates a short lived counter keyed to a scrambled (one way hashed) version of your IP address. The counter is never stored with your message and expires after about an hour.
Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical information such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks. We don’t receive or keep that information.
We don’t add you to a newsletter, run you through a sales sequence, or contact you about anything you didn’t ask for.
We never sell your information, never share it for advertising, and never use it to train AI models.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of people or of Meteorix.
We keep a form submission as long as we need it to answer you and follow up on what you asked for, and no longer than 12 months. If we end up working together, we keep what we need for the length of the project and any plan, plus whatever records the law requires.
The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS) with strict security headers. Forms accept submissions from this site only, cap their size, reject unexpected fields and limit how often they can be used. Stored submissions are reachable only through our own hosting account.
No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect small, so there is little to lose.

Residents of California and of other US states with privacy laws have these rights by law. We give them to everyone. We don’t sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, and we treat browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control as an opt out anyway. We won’t treat you differently for using any of these rights.
We answer requests within 45 days, usually much sooner. We may ask you to confirm the email address you used, so we only hand information to the right person.
When we set up an AI receptionist, follow ups or forms for your business, we handle your customers’ information on your behalf and only as your written plan describes. Your customers’ calls and messages belong to your business, and we hand everything over if you leave.
Call recording and messaging rules differ by state. We set the receptionist up to identify itself as a virtual assistant and to contact only people who asked to hear from you. Your written plan covers the details.
This site is for businesses. It isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us information, tell us and we’ll delete it.
Some free tools link to other services, such as Google’s own speed test. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this one doesn’t cover them.
If we change how we handle information, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects information you’ve already given us, we tell you before it applies.
